Extraction rules

The Schools DIM file is quite different from the other files that will be sent to a DWH. For the purposes of providing registering participants with an accurate list of schools in Australia, we utilise the data provided by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA).

PlayHQ does not store this information in its databases - rather, the Schools data is stored in AWS Elasticsearch, only. Therefore, we will not be sending a formal file across to customers. Rather, a customer can download the same file that we will be using from ACARA that can be found here - https://www.acara.edu.au/contact-us/acara-data-access.

We will inform our customers when we load a new ACARA Schools file into Elasticsearch in order to ensure that our customers' Schools data is up to date with what is captured from registering participants.
